Transfer records to Archives and Special Collections
Transfer University Records
Archives and Special Collections acquires and preserves inactive records of enduring historical value for Loyola University Maryland and Notre Dame of Maryland University. For assistance with the transfer of materials, contact us at archives@loyola.edu to discuss the records you have. We will work with you to determine which records should be transferred to the archives and to arrange for the safe transfer of materials. Records transfers should be in compliance with the record retention policies of Loyola and Notre Dame.
Donating Materials to Archives and Special Collections
Archives and Special Collections welcomes gifts of books, audio-visual media, archival material, personal papers and manuscripts, photographs, architectural drawings, artifacts, and other items that align with our collection development policy and support the research and teaching missions of Loyola University Maryland and Notre Dame of Maryland University.
Although the library cannot accept everything that is offered (whether due to staff and space constraints or because the materials are not within the scope of our collection development policy), we welcome the opportunity to discuss prospective donations. Please fill out our Gifts In Kind Inquiry Form to begin the conversation. Thank you for your support of the library!
