Media Screening Room

Policies

The Media Screening Room is located on the Lower Level and seats 24 people in armchair-style seats that feature swiveling desktops. The room includes DVD and VHS technologies and supports projection from a laptop.

  • The Library must ensure that all media screenings are in compliance with copyright law. Media screenings that are not part of instruction for students in a registered course require public performance rights, which must be acquired by the person making the reservation. Please contact Danielle Whren Johnson at dwhren@loyola.edu for assistance in obtaining public performance rights. Such screenings will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
  • Loyola University Maryland and Notre Dame of Maryland University faculty and staff can reserve the Media Screening Room. Loyola students must comply with Loyola Events Services room reservation guidelines. Reservations for community organizations are approved on a case-by-case basis.
  • Reservations must be made 24-hours in advance, and recurring reservations are made on a case-by-case basis.
