3D Printing

Available for in library use only are:

  • three Dremel 3D40 Idea Builder 3D Printers
  • one Dremel Digilab 3D45
  • 2 PC's equipped with Dremel DigiLab 3D Slicer


  • prototyping
  • building parts
  • make physical objects from a digital design

Users should:

  • complete certification training before independent use
  • check out an accessory kit from the Help Desk
  • seek assistance from the Help Desk concerning filament issues
  • except when unavoidable, complete print jobs before the library closes

Users may:

  • complete the Assisted 3-D Print Request a minimum of 72 hours in advance of pickup, to print class sanctioned 3D objects (Requests are printed Monday-Friday only, and requests submitted on Friday or over the weekend should not be expected to be picked up before Wednesday at noon. Multiple print requests will require more time for completion)
  • reserve in advance: reserve a 3D printer
