COVID-19 Community Archive for Loyola and Notre Dame
LNDL's Archives and Special Collections is collecting documentation of the experiences of the Loyola and Notre Dame communities on campus, at home, and elsewhere during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your contributions will be preserved in the archives, so that future researchers can understand how this pandemic affects not only your work, but also your personal life, family, daily activities, and community.
We are reaching out to you as students, staff, and faculty to submit your documentation. We are also seeking submissions from alumni in exceptional situations and/or who are working on the front lines of the pandemic.
What Can I Contribute?

Anything you have created--digital or non-digital--that documents your experience! Examples include:
- Audio
- Memes
- Emails
- Screenshots of social media
- Photos
- Videos
- Art
- Journals
If you want to contribute your story but aren't sure how, we have developed a questionnaire for community members to share their experiences during the pandemic.
How Do I Submit My Contribution?
COVID-19 Community Archive Questionnaire
- Visit our questionnaire to answer questions about your experience, and upload files if you wish.
- Email files directly to archives@loyola.edu. By emailing files, you agree to the terms of use included at the end of the questionnaire.
- If you’d like to donate any non-digital materials (such as a diary, artwork, etc.) that document your experience to Archives and Special Collections, please email us at archives@loyola.edu.
- Please only contribute materials that you have created yourself. Please do not include derogatory statements or health information about identifiable people.
Thank you for your help in ensuring a more inclusive record of this event and its impact on our community.
